John Gearries is an American actor, vocalist, producer, and screenwriter. His talents have been used in feature films throughout Los Angeles, CA and in the cities of Louisville KY, Cleveland OH, Indianapolis IN, Chicago, IL and St. Louis, MS. During his time in Los Angeles he has appeared in a number of feature films. As a character actor, John has taken on the roles of a caveman in Jack Black’s Year One, a Secret Service Agent in Eric Robert’s First Dog, a star baseball player in Young Again, and a Deputy Sheriff in the throwback western Slaughter. He has also made multiple appearances on the popular television show Young and the Restless.
A huge reason why John is continuously casted is due to his size. He stands 6’5″ tall and carries it extremely well. John is highly athletic and talented in voice. He has mastered many accents of American society and is also convincing in various European accents.
His talents and voice have allowed him to take on various character roles as a voice over actor and to boot he is an outstanding at Crooning and singing R&B. P.S. he can rap.
John can really bring to life any character fitting to his stature and makes every film he’s a part of a true success.

Perry Township native John Gearries is quite the character. He's been a Secret Service agent, police officer, deputy, gangster and caveman. "I'm kind of a character actor," said Gearries, 28, a 1999 Perry Meridian High School graduate. The accomplished movie and TV actor lives in Los Angeles and now has his own film production company: Between the Lines Productions.Currently, John is working on his newest script ideal entitled, L.A Closers. The foreclosure crisis has taken the America by storm and is an extremely controversial topic for the modern film industry. L.A.
